Working around your rooms
A large sofa or fragile belongings near a window can make the glass harder to reach. Jim looks at the space during his visit and asks for help when something is in the way. Let him know about heavy furniture or delicate items near the windows so you can discuss what needs attention.
How Jim reaches exterior glass
For many exterior windows, Jim uses a water-fed pole instead of a ladder. Your outside tap feeds a filter that takes the particles out of the water, and the filtered water runs up the pole to a brush. Jim scrubs the glass, then rinses it. With nothing left in the water to spot, the glass dries clear. It works like the spot-free rinse at a car wash. Whether he uses the pole depends on the windows and how he can reach them.
One- and two-story homes are his usual work. Taller windows and difficult areas need an assessment during the estimate.

How much does home window cleaning cost?

Do you clean both sides of the glass?
Yes, Busy B offers interior and exterior window cleaning. Tell us which windows and sides you want included when we visit.
Is screen washing included?
Screen cleaning is optional and separately priced. Jim rinses screens with water through a nozzle; it is not automatically included with window cleaning.
Do you clean window tracks?
We wipe the exposed sills when we clean interior windows. We do not offer window track cleaning. Cleaning tracks properly takes more than a quick wipe: vacuuming, removing packed red dirt, vacuuming again and wiping several times. We don’t call it track cleaning unless we do that work. If you would like the tracks cleaned, please clean them yourself or arrange a housecleaning company before our visit. Red dirt in the tracks becomes harder to remove once it gets wet during window cleaning.
